Plans and billing

What is counted

The main unit is the slot: one keyword × one engine-and-device pairing × one geography, across your active scans. Plans differ in slots, domains, competitors per domain, which search engines and geography levels you may use, how deep crawls go, and whether AI visibility and provider-sourced backlinks are included.

Settings → Billing shows your plan against the alternatives, with the differences highlighted rather than a wall of identical rows.

Add-ons

Where one dimension is the constraint, an add-on is usually cheaper than the next plan: extra slots, extra domains, AI monitoring, extra AI questions. The app suggests the specific add-on that would resolve a limit you have actually hit, rather than a generic upgrade prompt.

Reaching a limit

Nothing is deleted and nothing silently degrades. The action that would exceed the limit is refused, with the numbers:

• Out of slots — adding keywords or widening a scan is refused; existing tracking continues.
• Out of a monthly quota — that feature pauses until the reset date, which is shown.
• Cost ceiling reached — new spending stops for the month; reading everything already collected continues.

Freed capacity

Removing keywords frees slots at the end of the billing month, not immediately. Otherwise delete-and-replace would be a way to exceed the capacity you paid for within a month. Held capacity is shown as "reserved" so the number is never unexplained.

Payment

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe; card details never reach us. Invoices are available from the billing portal, and carry the legal entity, registration number and VAT number.

Billing cannot be changed over the API — starting or changing a subscription is a checkout flow that needs a human. The API can read plan and usage, which is what an integration actually needs.

If a payment fails

Operations that spend money pause; everything already collected stays readable. Withholding data you already paid to collect would be punitive and is not what the pause is for. Settle the subscription and it resumes.
