Why connect anything

PicoRank can tell you where you rank without any integration. What it cannot tell you, without help, is what that position earned. Search Console supplies real impressions and clicks, and wherever a measurement exists we use it instead of an estimate.

Google Search Console

Integrations → Connect Search Console, then authorise with the Google account that owns the property.

What it improves:

• Click and impression figures replace modelled click-through estimates in reports.
• Keyword suggestions include terms you already receive impressions for — measured demand, not guesswork.
• Backlinks include Google's own view of who links to you.

We read; we never write. The connection cannot change anything in your Search Console account.

Connect GA4 for on-site behaviour alongside ranking data. Also read-only.

Permissions and disconnecting

Authorisation tokens are stored encrypted and are never readable by the app's ordinary data paths. Disconnecting removes our access immediately; data already imported stays until you delete the domain.

OAuth cannot be completed through the API — it needs a human at Google's consent screen. GET /v1/integrations reports each provider's current status, so an integration that has expired is visible to a monitoring script; reconnecting is done in the app.
